The 18-year-old, who has already played for the Saarlanders in the youth, has been given a three-year contract by the Bundesliga newcomer. The 1.91-meter-tall man is to be introduced to the professionals. Etringer was trained in Elversberg until 2023 and played a total of 49 games in the youth sector for Freiburg. "He will train with the licensed team and gain experience in our second team and will be gradually introduced to the requirements of the professional sector," said SVE sports director Christian Weber in a club statement about the 1.91-meter-tall goalkeeper.
