SV Elversberg has signed midfielder Łukasz Poręba for the next three years. The 26-year-old will remain with the club until the summer of 2029. Poręba was previously on loan from Hamburger SV to SV Elversberg for the 2025/2026 season. The club has exercised the option to buy the midfielder and has secured his services for the next three years. Poręba played for SV Elversberg in all 34 second-division games last season. He started every game from the third matchday onwards and scored one goal and set up three others. "We are very happy that Łukasz will continue to be a key player for our team. He has shown in the past season how valuable he is for the team," said SV Elversberg's sports director Christian Weber. "Last year in Elversberg was special for me in all aspects. We achieved something historic with the promotion to the Bundesliga, but I also felt a great sense of trust and comfort from the start," said Poręba. It feels right to continue on this path and face the upcoming challenges in the 1. Bundesliga. The preparations for the Bundesliga will start in a few weeks. The training camp will take place in St. Ingbert at the end of June. The first test match will be played on July 4 against FC Gießen. A week later, the team will play against Swiss champion FC Thun in Rust, and on July 17 against Viktoria Köln in Felsberg. From July 20 to 26, a training camp will take place in Barneveld, Netherlands. Further friendly matches and the season opener are planned, according to the club. The Bundesliga season will start at the end of August.
