SV Elversberg has signed midfielder Lukasz Poreba on a permanent deal. The 26-year-old Pole was on loan from HSV last season and will remain with the club until 2029. Poreba played in all 34 of Elversberg's 2. Bundesliga matches, starting in 32 and playing the full 90 minutes in 27. He scored one goal and provided three assists. "Lukasz has shown how valuable he is to the team", says Elversberg's sporting director Christian Weber in a club statement. "With his qualities on the ball, his intelligence and his outstanding mentality, he had a big part in our success." Poreba is looking forward to the challenge ahead. "With our promotion to the Bundesliga, we've achieved something historic", he says, "it feels right to continue on this path together."
