SV Elversberg has exercised the buyout option for Lukasz Poreba. The 26-year-old midfielder played for the Saarlanders in all 34 second-division games and was responsible for one goal and three assists. Poreba moved to the Volkspark in the summer of 2023 from RC Lens, where he played 37 competitive games. He was part of the team that returned to the Bundesliga in 2025 after a seven-year absence. In the decisive promotion game against SSV Ulm (6:1), he even started in the starting lineup. With a one-year delay, Poreba is now also entering the Bundesliga. With Elversberg, the right-footed player will face his old employer twice in the upcoming season. The HSV thanks Poreba for his time in the HSV jersey, which will also be forever linked to a historic promotion. We wish him all the best for the future and look forward to seeing him again soon in the upcoming season.
